It is with huge pride that we share this update on our trainee solicitors, as two of our former trainees qualify as solicitors and three new trainees begin their training contracts with Sills & Betteridge this month.
It is an exciting time for our trainee programme as we celebrate the progression of our lawyers while welcoming the next generation of trainees to the firm.
Jeffrey Cheung and Ryan Palmer have qualified as solicitors and accepted jobs with the firm, further to the successful completion of their two-year training contracts. Jeffrey joins our Corporate Team and Ryan joins our Commercial Property Team.
Ellinor Kilshaw and Hannah Follows have moved from their paralegal roles into trainee solicitor positions in our Commercial Litigation Team.
Sophie Renton has joined us as a Trainee Solicitor, starting her first seat in our Private Client Department.
We now have 8 trainee solicitors, 7 solicitor apprentices and 16 others in legal training positions in various practice areas across the firm.
Sills & Betteridge Training Partner, Simon Breeden said
"I would like to congratulate Jeffrey and Ryan for achieving this important milestone in their career and welcome Sophie, Ellinor and Hannah as this year's trainee cohort.
Our trainees are central to the future of our firm. They bring fresh perspectives, energy and ambition, while their training develops the skills and experience they need to become effective lawyers and build successful careers".
Applications for our 2029 training contracts are now open, with applications closing 31 August 2027.
