HOURS: 09:00–17:15, Monday to Friday

As a Family Paralegal at Sills & Betteridge, you’ll play a vital role in supporting clients through some of the most important and sensitive moments of their lives. You’ll work alongside experienced family lawyers in a supportive, approachable team, particularly on domestic violence cases.

From drafting, amending, and proofreading legal documents to attending client meetings and external appointments, your role will be dynamic and people-focused.

- Is educated to degree level or equivalent
- Ideally has experience liaising with domestic abuse victims and an understanding of the impact this has on them
- Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Has a clear understanding of the application of Family Law and the Legal Aid Agency (LAA)
- Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Has experience drafting statements and applications
